I haven’t been to work all week due to appointments and a hospital tour and I really can’t say I was too upset to have missed the first two work days of the week. Well this morning started off a little rough, Emma woke up early so I had to turn on the tv to occupy her for a few minutes so I could finish getting ready. Once we were both ready I was trying to get everything together for the day so we could get out the door and she decided to be cranky, throwing herself all over the place and what not. Thinking back on it she was probably hungry since usually she wakes up gets ready and we go straight to daycare just in time for breakfast. Today she woke up an hour earlier than usual. It was a rough morning, to make matters worse at work we had to sit on bleachers in a gym with no AC or ventilation for an hour and anyone who has ever been pregnant knows how bad that would suck but hey, I made it through. Well when I came home from work I found these flowers on the table at home. This marks the first time hubby has gotten me just because flowers! I honestly thought I may have forgotten an important date!! They are so fragrant I thought I had left the scentsy on. I had all these things I kept telling myself I needed to get done but something about the flowers and hubby’s support just convinced me that I should take it easy this afternoon.

On a separate note here is Emma rocking her baby doll this morning. I really wonder if she knows we will be bringing home a baby next month or if its just a coincidence. Either way its super sweet to see her like this with her baby, it melts my heart and makes me that much more excited to see them together.

So what’s going on around here? Well we are trying to prepare for Bella to join us in the outside world and preparing the house for the company that inevitably come with a new baby. Since we are in another country we want to make sure we have a nice space for the grandparents to stay with us especially since they will be coming for 3-4 weeks! You will probably be getting updates and pictures of some of the projects we’ve been working on.

Since I feel crazy because I NEED to organize the bookcase in would love to know what you did to get ready for baby that other people (hubby) might have thought was crazy??
