Please excuse my recent Hiatus, on August 25th our little Isabella Sophia decided to make her appearance 4 weeks early! We have been battling with jaundice and her weight but she is otherwise very healthy and strong. She was born at 2.5kg measuring 48cm long. After a few extra days in the hospital we took her home only to return last night after a blood test came back with very high levels of jaundice. Emma was really enjoying her baby sister and hubby says she misses me dearly (she became inconsolable when she couldn’t find me this morning). We hope to only be here one more night but that’s hoping for a lot.

I will be sharing many more photos and our birth story once we are settled back in at home. In the mean time we continue to pray and have faith. I am so fortunate to have such a loving and devoted husband who can be at the hospital with us during the day and wrangling our 14 month old (who have I mentioned I miss dearly) in the evenings and mornings.
